Transfering Your Urban Decay Primer Potion Tutorial

Okay, so we're all familiar with the famous Urban Decay Primer Potion and the amazing thing it does to your eyeshadow. Little did we know that this sophisticated "genie-like" bottle carries more than what they want you to believe. I've seen other ladies do this so I just had to try it out myself. After I've completed it, I was just in complete awe at how much primer was left in the bottle. And so, as an Urban Decay Cosmetics user, I just had to cut this baby open to get my money's worth.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
step2
your UDPP

step1
a small jar with an air tight cap
[i'm using a small MAC jar that once had a sample pigment]

step3
an x-acto knife with a sharp blade or a kitchen knife will do

STEP 1:
step4

step5
with your x-acto knife or kitchen knife, carefully cut the bottom section of your UDPP where it is most narrow.

STEP 2:
 step6
with the sponge applicator, scoop out the UDPP until you've gotten most of the product out.

STEP 3:
 step7
place it into your empty jar.
note: for best results, I tapped the jar gently on the table so the UDPP won't build up around the rim of the jar.

STEP 4:
 step8
with your knife, carefully cut through the widest section of your UDPP.

step9

step10
this is what it should look like. Look at all that extra UDPP. It surprised me so much!!

STEP 5:
step11
again, with your sponge applicator, scoop out as much UDPP.

STEP 6:
step12
place it into your jar. [don't forget to gently tap it on your table to get the product deep into the jar & so it doesn't leave any air bubbles]

step14
here's what a successfully empty bottle of UDPP should look like. AMAZING!!

step13

step15
At last, I've completely filled up the jar of UDPP!!

So does this mean I'm going to discontinue purchasing this product? Of course not. It's a great product and it works wonders. I highly doubt that Urban Decay is intentionally trying to rip off its buyers. I think the "genie-like" bottle is to attract its customers. I mean, what's the point of naming it a primer potion if it's not in an appealing bottle like that.

Anyway, FOTDs will be posted soon. Talk to you guys later. Peace

  what's in my purse?

I thought this would be fun. I got a message from a subscriber on Xanga and she's basically getting all her female friends to show what's inside their purses. I think it's a fun way to find out a little more about that person. There's not much going on in my purse because it's what I had with me when I went to school & back. So.. enjoy!

inmypurse

1.) Dooney & Bourke purse

2.) Hello Kitty wallet

3.) Studio Fix Powder & video IPod

4.) Leopard print make-up bag

5.) Sony Ericcson cellphone
my bf has good timing. he called when I took the picture. (=

6.) Pucca Funny Love pencil pouch plus writing tools & Trident gum.

7.) Cherry Blossom lotion from Bath & Body Works

8.) Estee Lauder lipgloss, Burt's Bees chapstick, 2 Softlips chapstick, Chapstick, MAC Lipglass in Oh Baby, & MAC lipstick in Tango & a compact mirror from Sephora

Now that I look at this picture,
I'm trying to figure out how the heck I fit all that in my tiny Dooney.  Amazing!!
